PRIVATE EVENTS AND HOUSE CONCERTS
What it is and what it isn't
A private event or house concert with Mystery Loves Company is an artistic, contemplative, and engaging performance. By hiring us you are becoming a patron of the arts, like an old king, the Medici, or the church.
It is not background music or a covers performance, though we have a few cover arrangements in our repertoire that we may deploy in the right circumstance. If you want someone to play your favorite song, we may be able to guide you to the right musician (often someone we know), but we are usually not it.
We will perform original music for you that we have written, tell you stories about where these songs come from, answer audience questions, and otherwise engage with you and your guests. Our aim, is to create an artistic experience that everyone present will remember be inspired by and remember for years to come.
